What is up with the weather? This week we are in the 70’s and next week, on the first full day of spring, we are looking at snow. Huh? I don’t get it. But like they say, if you don’t like the weather in Colorado, wait 5 minutes, it will change.
What’s up with the weather? Yesterday it was 60 degrees out, today it is snowing like crazy. Weather guy said about one inch, so far, about 6. Gave up trying to get kids to school. After “driving” for about 35 minutes, I finally gave up and came back home.
It’s time to get…Sardonic!
Longmont, Colorado, a vehicle carrying 10 or so people was pulled over by police. Not only was the driver on a restricted license and had a prior DUI, his BAC was .138. Of the 10 people in the car, one woman was sober and she did have a valid license. I am sure she was the only one freaking out as they swerved their way down the street.
What makes this story so ironic is the fact that the guy who was driving was the designated driver. Why the one and only sober person in the car wasn’t the DD, one can only guess.
This just shows the level of maturity this guy had and level of common sense. He is the DD and he blows a .138. How could Darwin be right? If it was to be survival of the fittest, I assume smartest too, how can there still be people like this around?
I wonder how many of the passengers the next day wanted to beat the tar out of this guy for putting them all in danger. But then again, they where stupid enough to get into the vehicle in the first place.
My blog, dedicated to vent my frustrated views of the state of the world, especially this nation, and mankind.
How have we become so self-centered? So narcissistic? So self-absorbed? As time goes by, readers will see what frustrates me about mankind and my responses to the idiotic, neolithic behavior I see around me. These are my opinions and use this format to vent and explain why I feel something is to be responded back with cynicism and a sense of awe of the stupidity behind it.
My ramblings can be on almost anything. Laws, or the lack of following them, to in my opinion, incorrect theology. I welcome light debate, but no spam or threats.
And now for my catchphrase. It’s time to get…Sardonic!
